Katie Lee is a chef famous for her cookbooks and TV shows and for being the ex-wife of award-winning singer/songwriter Billy Joel. The renowned chef remarried Ryan Biegel, and they are now parents.
Before being recognized as a chef and kitchen critic, Katie Lee was the third wife of music megastar Billy Joel. The couple married in 2004 after dating for a year.

The age difference between them, 33 years, ultimately influenced the breakup. Lee is only four years older than Joel's daughter. She focused on her career as a chef and financial recovery after her marriage with Joel ended. The couple divorced in 2009.
Fortunately, nine years after her divorce, Lee found love in Biegel, who managed to win her heart. The couple shares a love of cooking and food, and this affinity has become a great strength in their relationship.
WHO IS RYAN BIEGEL?
Biegel is an actor who has featured in some episodes of well-known series between 2010 and 2014, such as: "Scrubs," "Cougar Town," and "Enlisted." He also appears in the movie "Stuck on You."
He has also worked as a producer on various shows such as "Top Chef," "Best Bars in America," and "Tia Mowry at Home." Between 2017 and 2018, he was a producer on "The Real Housewives of New York City."
ROMANCE AND PROPOSAL
Lee and Biegel met in 2016 on the set of "Beach Bites with Katie Lee," where he was the producer. Then they began to travel a lot for the show and to share more moments together. They especially enjoyed eating delicious dishes.
During a trip to Paris in 2018, Biegel popped the question on one knee while holding a beautiful vintage ring. The couple shared the good news of their engagement with their fans on Instagram.
MAGICAL WEDDING
The couple kept their wedding plans secret, and the ceremony took place in September 2018, in a very romantic town in Italy. During a romantic vacation, they both arrived in that little town on the Italian coast and fell in love with the place.
The wedding was a private affair with a small number of close friends and family. The couple's idea was to spend a relaxed time with their guests, so before the wedding, they took a boat ride while enjoying the sunset, wine, and pizzas.
INFERTILITY PROBLEMS
When they got married, neither had had children, and they both dreamed of being parents. In a post on her Instagram, the chef spoke openly about her problems conceiving.
She said: "Not only is IVF physically exhausting, the emotional toll is unparalleled. We were filled with hope and excitement, only to be crushed. It is really hard to put on a happy face."
HAPPY BLESSING
Fortunately for the couple, things went well, and in February 2020, they announced via Instagram that the Biegel family's first baby was on the way. In September of the same year, they announced the birth of their little daughter Iris Marion.
FAMOUS EX-HUSBAND
With her new family, Lee has left behind the days she was known as the third wife of singer-songwriter Billy Joel. Joel first married Elizabeth Weber in 1973. Weber's controlling attitude, and her love of money, led to their divorce in 1982.
Joel's second marriage was in 1985 to supermodel Christie Brinkley. Unfortunately, the economic situation that led to his divorce from Weber kept him away from working, which badly affected the marriage. Still, the couple had a daughter, Alexa Joel, before divorcing in 1994.
THE FOURTH TIME
In 2015, Billy Joel got married for the 4th time to Alexis Roderick, then 34; she had been the singer's girlfriend since 2009. In 2015, the couple welcomed their first daughter, Della Rose, and in 2017 came their second daughter, Remy Anne.
